I played the Playstation 2 exclusive Soul Calibur III most of yesterday, and i have to say im little disappointed with it, specially since i own & play alot of Soul Calibur II on the Xbox. I suppose in more ways im disappointed thats it only comming out on the Playstation 2, which in hardware standards is not much, specially if you place it against the Nintendo Gamecube or the Xbox, and its reflexted in the game quality.

The soundtrack does not sparkle like in Soul Calibur II "Xbox", and the characters & levels look poor over Soul Calibur II on the Xbox. It seems to have alot of extra area's in Soul Calibur III over Soul Calibur II "Xbox", buts its a bland game.

It got really good reviews across the Internet, with only negative comments relating to the lack of online multiplayer, but maybe Soul Calibur III is about the same or better than the Playstation 2 version of Soul Calibur II.

Out of 5 stars, i would say it was about 2.5, meaning okay, but nothing special.
