Um just thought i would say that World of Warcraft rocks

does it ^^ from what i have heard it sucks big time

Someone else i know also has the game, and they seem to thinks its not bad, but i suppose it depends on the person and there main choice of gamming. From what ive seen it looks good going by the graphics, but i havent played it yet, though i did enjoy warcaft II years ago.

Haha, Ive just uninstalled Diablo II this evening down to lack of hard drive space for something i was working on, i have the expansion disk and i use to play online, but havent in a while. Its a good game, but i find you need to put alot of time into it, and since i lost my charcter twice, i suppose ive been a little put off.

I do love Diablo II, I thought I was the only one out there, but I'm buying a PC from Ch@os specifically for World Of Warcraft so I'll have to tell you which is better when I get it.

Monthly price, is internet access costs, and a monthly WOW network user access.

The only good thing about monthly cost is they keep the servers kind of dupe free so there are no godly items that everyone has and f*** the economy of the game up as well

Yay! I go on broardband on the 4th of November so you all know what that means......

WOW will be coming to my PC on the same day. I could go on it now but choose not to because of two reasons: 1 - I really don't want to pay per min and 2 - the patch you have to download for it before playing will take about 6 or more hours to download on dial-up!!!!!!

Broardband came early, and guess what the first game I played was? You guessed it WoW, and I must say that it is flipping brilliant! Not only is the online gameserver great, hardly any lag with more than 20 people on screen at the same time but the actual game is limitless.

The basic storyline is there are two different factions the Hoard and the Alliance (they hate each other by the way) when you choose your character it determines what side you are on. The world map is huge so there is plenty to explore and there is no way to hack the game and distroy the economy and no one just slaughters lower level characters.

Character:

You can choose from:

Human (Alliance)
Night Elf (Alliance)
Gnome (Alliance)
Dwarf (Alliance)
Orc (Hoard)
Touren (Hoard)
Undead Forsaken (Hoard)
troll (Hoard)

Plus the character detail is amazing eg, every piece of armour you have equiped will show on your character. The Character development is great, you have to fish, cook, kill, explore, mine, forge, craft, skin the list goes on. And the best thing is, you are not alone! There are hundreds of other players, roughly the same level as you, running around and they really make the game what it is. there is no talking about other games, being stupid etc. everyone plays like their character to fulfill the ctual role play. Not to mention the detail of the environments. they are huge and I doubt that even if I played the game for a year I would no get fed up of the scenery.

I enjoy just walking out in to the wilderness completely alone on a cliff top looking over the edge, set up camp fire and do some cooking. Then another player walks past and just say hi. After, you get up and walk along the mountain range towards the nearest city. You encounter hostile enimies and just little bunny rabbits (that you just have to slaughter You make it to the city gates, browse around the shops, get some new armor and weapons and set off again. You meet someone you teamed up with earlier in a quest, you get talking and you both decide to catch a boat to the next island. But theres a twist, this boat is a neutral boat which means both Alliance and Hoard are on it. The tension is so thick that you almost crap your pants, all someone has to do is click on an opposing faction player and this boat is gonna go up like a firework. When you reach shore you step in to town and whitness a huge street fight has broken out between the two factions, worriors, preists, hunters, rogues, warloks are all fighting and casting spells until one team is left standing. That is how cool this game is. There is more than that but I can't be assed to type. Buy it for your self and find out.

Again, World of Warcraft is possibly the best game ever made! Appart from Monkey Island on the Amiga

World of Warcraft is a good game.. I've played it a couple of times, but its the cartoon look which spoils it for me.. maybe they made it to be like that.

As for Diablo II.. never got round to buying it
I heard its like RTS but wasnt sure and if it was worth getting it.

GW is not that good a game i have it lvl cap at 20 last time i played it and mission take like 2 -3 hours to do and with okies exp for it.

But there is a new warcraft game coming out the RTS one there is starcraft Ghost and there is one other which they aint saying so could it be Diablo 3.

D2 is not a RTS that is the Warcraft series. It is more like WoW in a way RPG
