PINBALL
Receives Award:
On the 23rd November 2003 legendary
zone contender PINBALL, who is well know for being a regular
member of Derby's Senior team, was presented with an engraved
Silver Salver by the staff of Willows Sports Centre.
The Silver Salver was presented to PINBALL, to congratulate
him for playing over two thousand games while being a dedicated
and supportive member at Derby Zone. Many trophies have
been won over the years by PINBALL while playing at home
or away, and he is one of the best and longest playing senior
contenders left in the United Kingdom, he certainly deserved
the award. |

Mini Film Delayed:
There is a mini film that is currently under editing, which is
from Leicester's Infusion All-nighter two months back, its been
delayed after some technical set backs. Hopefully the mini film
will be released before Christmas here on Megazone United Kingdom,
just remember its recorded by un-trained crew, and you should
then be able to stand what awaits you. There are mini movies already
available to be downloaded from the Movie
section from months earlyer, feel free to download them.
Contender Database:
The Contender
Database on Megazone United Kingdom is still operational,
but is going through a possible upgrade, which could see the
beginning of user editable profiles. As for the moment the old
Contender Database system will have to make do till something
more ideal is drawn up, thanks for your support we hope to have
the database sorted as soon as possible.
Possible Lazerage
Event:
There has been news that Yeovil LaZerage based in Somerset,
may be holding an all-nighter in the early months of 2004 possibly
around February, hopefully there will be more news on this in

Derby Upgrade
Laser tag System:
Derby Megazone have traded in there old system Z/5 lately, its
been known for sometime that there was possible plans in process,
which could see the upgrade to T1 or T2 Infusion, its now been
known that Derby have upgraded to system T2 Infusion. Derby
is the second arena in Europe to be installed with the T2 Infusion
laser tag system, which is manufactured by Zone-Empire and is
there latest system to be released by the international laser
tag company.
Derby Open
Website:
Derby Megazone which is based in Willows Sports Centre Derby
has opened there official website a few months ago, which comes
with its own thriving message board, wallpaper, phone logos,
access to your member scores by link to there Derby members
database, and much more. The website has its own member system
which you can quickly register for in a few minutes, which goes
on to give you access to the message board, your own custom
profile and have access to any possible scores you have made
while precipitating in games at Derby, which can include high
scores.
Derby is the first
location I know of that have made a revolution in member features,
by there interface between there website and there system, which
was introduced while they had system Z installed a couple of
months back. The feature makes it possible for members of Derby
Megazone, to view there recorded scores which have been recorded,
after the date of registration to the website. As i said above,
the feature is the only one I've seen or caught word of, could
this be an idea that may catch on, as a possible future system
